چکیده

This study contributes to our understanding of the Metaverse by presenting a case implementation brain-computer interface supported game-based engagement in Virtual Environment (VE). In VE, individuals can communicate with anyone, anywhere, anytime, without any limits. situation will increase barrier-free living standards disabled people more accessible environment. A virtual world well-being awaits these individuals, primarily through gamified applications thanks Brain-Computer Interfaces. environments be infinitely large, but user's movement reality (VR) environment is constrained natural Locomotion has become popular motion as it allows for full exploration VE. this study, teleport method from locomotion methods was used. To teleport, user selects intended location using brain signals before being instantly transported that location. Brain are decomposed into alpha, beta, and gamma bands. The features each band signal Time, frequency, time-frequency domains extracted. proposed method, highest performance binary classification obtained frequency domain Alpha band. Signals alpha were tested Frequency, Time-Frequency. Teleport operations faster Time stable domain. However, Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT) used Time-Frequency could not respond adequately real-time applications. All analyses experienced Erzurum Tour which prepared promote cultural heritage gamification method.

A Study of Various Feature Extraction Methods on a Motor Imagery Based Brain Computer Interface System

Introduction: Brain Computer Interface (BCI) systems based on Movement Imagination (MI) are widely used in recent decades. Separate feature extraction methods are employed in the MI data sets and classified in Virtual Reality (VR) environments for real-time applications. Methods: This study applied wide variety of features on the recorded data using Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) classifie...

Control of a 2-DoF robotic arm using a P300-based brain-computer interface

In this study, a novel control algorithm, based on a P300-based brain-computer interface (BCI) is fully developed to control a 2-DoF robotic arm. Eight subjects including 5 men and 3 women perform a 2-dimensional target tracking in a simulated environment. Their EEG (Electroencephalography) signals from visual cortex are recorded and P300 components are extracted and evaluated to perform a real...

Development of a Brain Computer Interface (BCI) Speller System Based on SSVEP Signals

BCI is one of the most intriguing technologies among other HCI systems, mostly because of its capability of recording brain activities. Spelling BCIs, which help paralyzed people to maintain communication, are one of the striking topics in the field of BCI. In this scientific a spelling BCI system with high transfer rate and accuracy that uses SSVEP signals is proposed. In addition, we suggested...
